Position: Programmer Analyst – Sunnyvale, California, Position ID: PACA0107

Job Description: Programmer Analyst is an entry level position which is closely monitored and supervised by Inprofy’s Business Development Manager. The incumbent will assist in analyzing system requirements who will be working with software being developed under the guidance of supervisor. This job involves gathering data, analyzing to see what the software expected to perform in the user’s business or activity. Next step of software development is to generate workflow diagrams and appropriate algorithms (problem solving methods) by applying knowledge of computer systems, software/hardware architecture, the tools and platforms used in the various development methodologies. Final stage of development requires incumbent to assist in coding, testing, and implementing the software developed while closely monitored by Supervisor. Typically the candidate is expected to work approximately in the following manner on a day-to-day basis.

• Analyzing data, workflow chart and diagram. (50%)
• Developing algorithms and coding. (30%)
• Testing, debugging and implementing software. (20%)

The candidate is expected to possess knowledge and expertise in several of the following:

Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux, Windows NT, Windows 95
Relational Databases: Access, Oracle, Sql Server
Networks: TCP/IP based, Windows based, UNIX Based
Development Tools and Languages: CASE Tools, PL/SQL, SQL, C/C++, .Net, Java, Visual Basic
Software Methodologies: Object Oriented, Client/Server, Prototyping

Position: Senior Programmer Analyst (multiple positions) – Sunnyvale, California

Skill set: Knowledge of one or more high level programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java

Job Description: Writing, analyzing, reviewing, and rewriting programs using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Performs direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Consults with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.

Position: SAP BW Consultants - Sunnyvale, California

Job Description: We have an immediate need for a SAP BW Consultant. In this position you will provide complex software development for assigned business projects. You will also provide daily support for current applications. This position will require you to demonstrate a high degree of technical expertise in a specialized area. You will act as a technical consultant to other team members to assist with knowledge transfer in a specialized area. Your participation in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the SAP Business Warehouse will be crucial. You will develop and maintain ABAP code for custom users extracts.

To be considered for this amazing position, you must have the following:

• 4 year degree, 5 or more years of SAP development experience including experience using ABAP, and 3 years of SAP BW including version 3.x. Sound fundamental IT development skills.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for working with multiple teams for desktop/Web applications for critical business processes; to quickly troubleshoot any issues and work on enhancing the tools and applications to adapt to the frequent change of our client’s businesses.

The person will also be responsible for supporting various ad-hoc reports for the teams. A critical function for this job is to keep coming up with better and more efficient ways to serve the business needs.

The person must be detail oriented, have a business understanding, and should be able to manage database activities effectively, accurately and deliver on time.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong ASP.NET programming
• Effective database management and general business analytical skills
• Excellent communications and command skills
• Strong drive for results in a timely manner (able to identify problems and quickly implement solutions)

Professional Experience & Technical Skills:

• Excellent understanding of Desktop/Web application architecture
• ASP programming experience using VBScript
• Should be able to manage, troubleshoot and enhance the existing ASP applications. Prior experience of at least 2-3 complete project development lifecycles
• Proven ability to migrate existing ASP applications to the .NET platform
